Whilst reading other blogs I came across yours and I love it! I am a primary school teacher in England and reading your work was refreshing , sometimes funny, sometimes I got a sense of pathos.....I have never met you but I get a feel for who you are in your blog...well done...reading your work closed the space between us!

Videoing collaboration certainly is exciting - a great way of communicating with others from different countries. It can give students and staff a great insight to what is happening in other places and other classes. Isn't it great that Hawkesdale has the opportunity to do these things with the computer.

Hi! Wow! That trash treasure day seems like such a good idea! I had never thought of how someone's trash may be a "treasure" to someone else! I would like to have one in my school. I am amazed by how I just got an idea from you blog, how I came across it. It is unbelievable! Through the internet you can find other people and connect. That is why I would like you to visit my blog anytime (2gr82b4gotten.edublogs.org)
Great Job! Keep it up!

Hi,
I love the trash to treasure day--seems like a great fund raiser with potential service learning links. I teach service learning in the US and came across your blog from Classroom 2.0. It's giving me some good ideas, thank you!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this blog on Hawkesdale. As an ex-Hawkesdalian myself, it made me remember my childhood home with fondness. Well done on this very entertaining and honest blog.

Ha ha.... Ohhh noooo.... now, as well as Anzac biscuits, I've discovered scones with jam and fresh cream. Next thing I know you will be posting pictures of pavlovas and lamingtons.
